The Digital Pipe Corrosion Depth Gauge is a precision inspection instrument designed for measuring the depth of corrosion pits, surface defects, cavities, and localized metal loss on pipes, pipelines, tanks, pressure vessels, structural steel, and other metal surfaces. The digital display provides quick and easy-to-read measurements, making it suitable for corrosion inspection, maintenance, quality control, and asset integrity applications.
The specially designed arm attachment helps position the gauge securely over curved surfaces such as pipes and cylindrical components. This enables accurate measurements of pits on corroded surface of constructed pipes, structures at onshore and offshore installations and welding inspection of pipelines and convenient measurement of corrosion pits and localized surface imperfections where conventional depth gauges may be difficult to position accurately. Digital Pit Gauge has 0.0050″ (0.10 mm) diameter sharp needle probe will access even the smallest pits.
