Caltech Engineering Services offers chemical resistance test cell for evaluation of chemical resistance of fusion bonded epoxy coated reinforcing TMT bars. It has a transparent closed container, sized to completely encase the epoxy coated rebar specimen and large enough to provide adequate exposure to both the liquid and vapor states of reagent. This cell has been designed as per IS 13620
To avoid pressure build-up within the test cell, we have included with cover for each cell. A separate container shall be used for each test vessel as per IS 13620 for 3M Aqueous Solution of CaCl2, NaOH, Ca(OH)2, and distilled water. You need to have Oven or Constant Temperature Room or Bath to ensure uniformity of test results, the test cells and specimen shall be maintained at the test temperature 35°C for the 45 days duration of the test period.
