Caltech India is the manufacturer and supplier of External Spring Electrodes used with Holiday Detectors for fastening & inspection of pipeline coatings. A range of external rolling spring electrodes is suitable for all pipe diameters, which can be supplied either along with holiday detectors or as spare parts. Full Circle and the Half-Circle Rolling Spring Electrodes are manufactured from round wire of spring steel material specially to use for smooth movement on coating of pipelines.
A simple connection allows the spring to be easily fitted around the pipe. The connector assembly can be screwed into the high voltage probe handle of the holiday detector. The rolling spring can be smoothly moved along the pipe, ensuring that the coating is thoroughly tested for holidays. The external spring electrodes of holiday detectors are essential tools for pipeline contractors during the installation of coated pipelines. These external spring electrodes are also known as rolling rings.
Specially selected wires prevent damages to coating. Due to own weight of external spring electrodes does not cause air gaps between coil or sagging while carrying inspection of coating. External full circle spring electrodes and half circle rolling spring electrodes are plated to prevent rusting. Simple connection using quick fix spring pusher allows spring electrodes to be easily fitted around pipe work and roll over the coated surface. The spring pusher assembly screws into the high voltage probe or extension rod.
We also provide External Full Circle Brass Brush which are available from 2” to 72”. Also available Flat Conductive Rubber Brush of 6” (152.4mm), 8″ (203.2mm), 12″ (304.8mm) for repair patches and avoids steel marks on coated surface.
We also provide Internal Conductive Rubber Brush for inspection of internal coatings, inspection of thin coating inside the pipe.
