A CES 101 High Range Coating Thickness Gauge up to 5 mm is a non-destructive instrument designed to accurately measure extra-thick coatings such as paint, powder, rubber, epoxy, or galvanizing on various substrates.
Caltech India is the manufacturer and supplier of CES 101 High Range Coating Thickness Gauge up to 5 mm with External Probe. The length of the probe is about 1 meter. The external probe model is more suitable for small space or assembly line operation. Dual technology features automatic selection of Magnetic Induction or Eddy Current Measurement techniques, the thickness of the non-conductive coating on the metal surface and the non-ferromagnetic metal coating on the ferromagnetic metal (such as iron, nickel and cobalt) surface can be measured nondestructive. In addition, the instrument contains large capacity memory. In the process of measurement, the instrument can count and record the measurement results. The maximum range of paint thickness gauge for heavy coating is 5000μm, and the measuring accuracy is ±(2%+1μm).
High Range Coating Thickness Gauge has strong anti-interference ability and can work in complex electromagnetic field environment. When measuring, the user only needs to quickly fit the probe end to the surface of the object under test. In the process of shrinking the probe into the instrument, the instrument can automatically distinguish the properties of the substrate and measure the thickness of the coating layer. Extended range coating thickness gauge for thick layers is mainly used to measure the thickness of metal surface paint, anticorrosive coating, fire proof layer, enamel or ceramic protective layer, automotive paint thickness, and etc.
