CES-503 Tri Gloss Meter

Glossometer is independently developed with intellectual property, manufactured according to international standard ISO2813 and China standard GB/T 9754. With auto-calibration and high-end QC software, it can meet the first grade requirements of JJG696.

CES-503 Tri-angle Gloss Meter can test material with high gloss (0-2000Gu), and universally apply to paint, ink, stoving varnish, coating, wood products, paint, car paint, floor finish, granite, printing industry, powder coating, polished concrete, coating, plastics, ink, rubber, printing, paper, glass, hardware, ceramic, marble, vitrified polished tile, pottery brick and porcelain, paper; hardware industries, etc. for gloss measurement and gloss data transmission.

High Gloss

Surfaces with a brilliant or highly polished finish reflect images clearly. This distinct reflection is caused by the incident light reflecting on the surface in a specular direction.

Semi & Matt Gloss

Semi and matt surfaces reflect images less distinctly and with reduced intensity. On semi or matt surfaces light not only reflects in a specular direction but also is scattered causing the reflected image to appear diffused.
