In view of the many different holiday testing applications there is an extensive range of accessories available including circular brushes for pipe work internal, rolling springs for pipe work externals, broad brushes to allow for quicker measurement of large surface areas and insulated extension rods. Insulated extension rods are available in both 0.5 and 1 metre lengths. Used to give extra reach for standard brushes and also can be screwed together for allowing circular brushes to be used for internal pipe testing.
Extension rods can also be used for extra length of pipe inspection from external or internal sides. Extension rods are designed with care to carry voltage up to 40KV and safe to use of holiday detectors / Pinhole and Spark testers.
Extension rods are recommended to use for internal coating inspection using high voltage holiday detectors. For very large lengths of pipes supporting rollers are required to avoid bending action of extension rods and prevent coating damages.
